Well we finally made it.  After 2 years of wanting to come and a 15 hour drive, we made it.  My kind mother was nice enough to help up move and came with me in the car to help take care of Britley.  Jeff drove the moving van and some how beat us here “by 7 minutes” he says, but keep in mind he got a half hour head start and had to stop less because he didn’t have the baby that needed changed etc.  The drive was actually better than I thought.  I was worried that it would feel like an eternity and that Britley would be screaming and unhappy, it was the complete opposite.  Britley played with toys and ate and slept and was happy most the way.  My mom and I listened to the last book of Twilight on CD the entire way and the drive went fast.

My Aunt and Uncle were so kind to let us stay at their house for a few days while we got the apartment arranged.  We had found a place that looked nice on the web and had everything set up all we had to do was sign a contract but I wanted to see the place first.  When we pulled in to the complex I did not like it.  It reminded me of the Motel 6 right off the freeway in St. George.  I didn’t even want to look in the apartment.  We just got our deposit back and went to another place that we found and loved.

My mom was a big help while she was with us for a week.  She took care of Britley and then helped unload the truck since we could not get help.  She then helped me get all unpacked.  I was so happy with this otherwise I think boxes would have sat unpacked for a long time 🙂  Thanks so much mom for all your help.

We are close to everything.  The mall is about 5 minutes away, grocery stores all around, 3 Jack in the Box within 10 minutes 🙂 , and we are in a nice quiet neighborhood.

I have to say, has only rained here once since we have been here.  We have been here since July 6th.  The weather is nice and cool in the mornings with some overcast and by lunch time it is sunny with clear skies.  I will let you know how the winter is.

Britley turned 9 months yesterday.  I can’t believe she is growing so fast.  She is army crawling everywhere and moves fast.  She is learning to pull herself up and she will walk if Jeff or I hold her hands.  As long as she is fed she is happy and laughs a lot.  She has discovered her lungs and loves to yell.

She is going through separation anxiety and that is hard when I need to get a babysitter.  But thanks to my mom, she takes care of Britley even when she is crying.

The other day I went to get Britley after her nap.  When I looked at her I thought she somehow had taken a bath or something because she was all wet.

After I picked her up, I looked at her bed and it looked like she had peed but Her head had been where it was all wet.  I guess she got the unfortunate genes of her father’s SWEAT!

I know I am terrible at keeping this updated.  I recently started my Recipe blog and that keeps up to date 🙂

Our family is doing great.  Jeff’s company is going well and keeping him very busy.  I love being home with Britley and creating new treats and meals in the kitchen.  Britley is getting so big.  She will be 7 months on January 24th.  She weighs just about 18 lbs now and is in the 90% in growth.  She has 2 bottom teeth now and they definitely hurt coming in.  She sits on her own, holds her own bottle, and she even says mom every so often.  She is so much fun and keeps getting more fun every day.

We have a new addition to our family and her name is Boo.  She is a beautiful White American Eskimo dog.  She is almost 2 years and is perfect.  She is very well behaved, house broken, and loves to play.  She obeys very well and I never have to worry about her getting into things because she knows not to.  She loves to cuddle and go on walks.  Couldn’t ask for anything better.

I hate when bad things come in 3s.  over the weekend i was doing videography for a friends wedding and my car was broken into and my phone and wallet were stolen.  it sucked.  then when we were getting the car window fixed some sensor that opens the door went bad.  now I’m hoping the 3rd thing doesnt come.   everything is worked out now thank goodness.  now just getting ready for Christmas!!

This month has been fun.  My birthday was on the 3rd.  I went out with my mom and Britley on the 2nd and went to lunch and bought new clothes 🙂  Then on the 3rd Jeff took me out to lunch and also to buy new clothes, then Jeff and I went bowling for the first time ever knowing eachother, so much fun!!  I asked for clothes since I just had a baby, I wanted new things to make me feel and look good again.  Had so much fun.  I no longer have to work, which is so nice to be home. 

Britley is teething already and its hard on her.  She also eats TONS and I always wonder where it goes.  She is growing so much.  Everyone says they grow so fast but you never realize it or know how much until you have one of your own 🙂

Jeff is working hard and is getting lots of work.  He always makes time for the family when needed though. 

We are all doing great and enjoying life.

Britley is 2 months old and I can’t believe it.  Time has gone by so fast.  New family update, Jeff is doing great running his own company with his business partner, Brian Miller.  I now get to be a stay at home mom along with starting a printing department for Jeff & Brian’s business and hope to get that up and running well.  I will be taking my hair school test in October and can’t wait.  Britley has been to San Diego and Durango CO and Vegas so she pretty much lives in her carseat 🙂  She is also starting so smile alot.  We are doing well and hope everyone else is too.

We would love to welcome the newest member of our family. Britley Ann Jenson was born at 5:56 PM on June 24th 2009. She weighed in at 7.77 lbs and was 19 inches long. Her and mom are doing wonderful and are bonding as we speak.

Well, I am still waiting for Britley to come.  My due date is the 25, 6 days.  I want her to come soon. 

I have a doctors apt today so hopefully she will give some good news. 

I have dropped a ton and am definately feeling the pressure on my hips and everything.  I still dont sleep and get up at least 5 times a night for the bathroom but I guess I’m just getting prepared for what I will have to soon do. 

I have had all my baby showers and they were so fun.  We got lots of great gifts and are very greatful to all that have helped out.  We are so excited for this new little life to come and join our family.
